DSE Speaking 考咩、點計分?
好多同學以為 Paper 4 口試只係考你講嘢流唔流利,但 HKEAA 嘅評分其實睇 4 個 dimension。搞清楚呢 4 個 dimension,你就知道點解淨係講 “I think” 係唔夠嘅。
DSE English Language Paper 4(說話)佔全科總分 10%。考試形式係 group discussion,4 個考生一組,圍住一個 topic 傾 8 分鐘。冇 individual presentation,所以你由頭到尾都係同其他人互動。考官會根據以下 4 個範疇評分。

你會發現,Communication Strategies 同 Vocabulary & Language Patterns 兩個範疇加埋已經佔評分嘅一半。而呢兩個範疇最直接受惠嘅就係——你識唔識用多元嘅句式嚟表達同一件事。「I think pollution is bad」同「From my perspective, the environmental toll of industrial emissions cannot be overlooked」講嘅係同一件事,但分數差幾級。
唔會扣分,但你嘅 Language Patterns 分數會被 cap 住喺中間水平。考官報告成日提到「部分考生用詞單一,反覆使用 I think / I agree,缺乏語言多樣性」——呢句嘢幾乎每年出現。
功能 1:表達意見 Giving Opinions
呢組係你用得最多嘅——每次開口講自己觀點都需要。目標係喺 8 分鐘內至少用 3 種唔同嘅 opinion opener,考官就會覺得你嘅 language range 到位。

12 組唔使全背。揀 3 個你覺得最順口嘅,考前一星期每日對住鏡講 5 次。到考場嗰陣,你嘅嘴巴會自動揀到唔同嘅 opener——唔使動腦諗「今次用邊句」。
功能 2:同意 Agreeing
同意唔等於收聲。最叻嘅做法係同意之後加一個新角度或者例子——呢個動作同時攞到 Communication Strategies 同 Ideas 兩個範疇嘅分。淨係講 "I agree" 然後沉默,考官會當你冇 contribution。

留意一個 pattern:每條句式後面都有「, …」——代表你一定要接落去講嘢。「That’s a valid point」講完就收聲,得 1 秒嘅 airtime;加埋 “Building on that, I think the government should also consider…” 就變成 10 秒嘅完整 turn。Group discussion 嘅遊戲規則係:每次發言要有 substance,唔係打卡。
功能 3:反對 Disagreeing
反對係 group discussion 入面最值錢嘅動作——因為佢推進討論、製造 tension、同時展示你嘅 critical thinking。但好多同學怕反對人,結果全程 agree。講真,考官最鍾意見到有禮貌但有骨氣嘅 disagreement。關鍵字係 "respectful challenge"。

直接講 "I don't agree with you" 語氣太 blunt,考官會覺得你缺乏 academic register。永遠用 "I see your point, but..." 或者 "I take a slightly different view" 開頭——呢個叫 hedge,係高分 speaking 嘅標配。
功能 4:追問同澄清 Asking for Clarification
追問嘅價值被嚴重低估。HKEAA 嘅 Communication Strategies 範疇明確列出「能否向其他考生提出問題、要求澄清」作為評核指標。喺一場 8 分鐘嘅 discussion 入面,問 1-2 個好問題,直接提升你嘅互動分。而且追問可以幫你 buy time——你問完對方答緊嗰陣,你可以諗自己下一個 point。

功能 5:總結同推進 Summarising & Moving On
好多組嘅 discussion 會喺同一個 point 兜圈。如果你係嗰個可以總結大家講咗啲咩、然後帶大家去下一個 topic 嘅人,考官會認為你有 leadership quality——呢個喺 Communication Strategies 同 Ideas & Organisation 兩度都計分。通常喺討論嘅中段(大概第 4 分鐘)同尾段(最後 1 分鐘)用最有效。

點樣練?考前 7 日衝刺方案
句式多到 60 組,你一定唔係全部背。以下係一個實戰嘅考前 7 日練法,每日 15 分鐘,唔使補習、唔使約人——自己對住鏡就得。
Day 1-2:每個功能揀 2 個句式(共 10 個),寫喺卡紙上。對住鏡逐個講 3 次,注意節奏同 intonation。
Day 3-4:搵一條 DSE past paper speaking topic,用 voice recorder 自己做 3 分鐘 monologue。replay 聽自己用咗幾多種 opener——目標係至少 3 種。
Day 5-6:搵一個同學(或者家人)做 mock discussion,8 分鐘。討論完互相 check 對方用咗幾多種句式。
Day 7:只練開場白同收結——呢兩個位置最影響考官第一印象同最後印象。
「表現較佳的考生能運用多元的語言結構引導討論、回應他人觀點、適時提問及總結。表現較差的考生傾向以簡單句式重複表達,例如反覆使用 'I think' 或 'Yes, I agree',缺乏深度和互動。」——呢段話出自 HKEAA 歷年考官報告,幾乎每年有類似措辭。
句式以外:Speaking 考場嘅 3 個隱藏加分位
識句式只係基礎。以下三個考場行為,好多同學忽略咗,但考官會注意到。
第一個係 eye contact。你講嘢嗰陣要望住你回應緊嘅嗰個組員,唔係望住考官,更加唔係望住枱。呢個行為訊號告訴考官你係真正喺同人 discuss,唔係喺背稿。
第二個係 response latency。當有人講完嘢之後,你唔需要即刻接。停 1-2 秒再開口——呢個 pause 會令你嘅回應聽落去有經過思考,而唔係 reflex。考官會認為你嘅 Ideas & Organisation 有層次。
第三個係 body language。微微向前傾、偶爾點頭——呢啲 non-verbal cue 喺 Communication Strategies 嘅評分入面係有 weight 嘅。考官報告提過「部分考生肢體語言僵硬,影響整體交流感」。
Speaking 同 Vocabulary 嘅關係
